As some of you ladies know in March I received a promotion and with that a 10% increase. Well when I returned from my vacation (my boss called me about the promo while I was away) I asked would the promotion increase effect my annual increase, meaning would I still recieve it. My boss said well 10% is substantial so it would be more than a merit increase anyway. I told her I really didn't care because increases for a promotion and merit are 2 horses of a different color.I explained that I can't help it if the company's timing was off. It's only fair that I get my merit because it was based on my performance.So she called my D.M. blah blah........the D.M. tried to talk circles around her and the have the message relayed to me..................Long story short
