I bought both of these swim suits for a family trip to Lake Michigan over the 4th of July. I'll be hanging out with my family, my folks college friends, my nephew and a developmentally impaired individual who likes to stare at women's breasts. I figured a little coverage (and a little help with the tummy) was in order.

I put an adorable C&C California dress in my RueLaLa cart this morning. Then, I took seriously less than 1 minute to measure the hem length and make sure I liked how long it was. Then when I went to pay, the 5 left in my size were already sold out! GRRRRRR!

Anyway, here is something I actually bought. Paying $7 shipping for two pairs of flip flops was painful, but I had some sandals in this style a couple years ago and I seriously wore them to the ground. I actually superglued parts of the shoe back together a couple times just to keep them going until I finally admitted that they had bit the dust. So I know I'll put these two pair to good use!

My daughter is "graduating" Preschool and she fell in love with this Minnie Mouse custom outfit to wear on her big day. She's soooo excited about it and has asked me at least 5 times since yesterday if it's here yet.
