how do i clean the stainless steel fridge, and all the other stainless steel surfaces??

i know there are products just for stainless steel, but i would prefer not to have to go to the store and use products around the apt.  (if need be i can go to the store...)

there's this stuff called "barkeeper's friend" that is the only thing i have found that works on my stainless pots and pans.  it comes in a canister, like comet or something and is granular like that.  you can get it at some williams-sonoma stores and at the supermarket gelson's (don't know if you have that where you are).  nothing else really works, sorry to say--i think you will have to go to the store!

my mother-in-law said she just heard that olive oil actually polishes stainless steel really well. I haven't gotten a chance to try it yet, but I will probably give it a shot.

They also sell stainless steel cleaner...it comes in a little metal can. You wipe it on and then buff it off. Works pretty well.
