I love that this is more of a jacket than a shrug, but I just can't pay $218 for it. Have you seen anything like this or do you think I'm going to have to find vintage? Maybe a vintage lace bed jacket worn the same way?

I found a couple of lace jackets at Anthro this week that are kind of like that jacket.

try searching for "bed jacket" under the vintage clothing category of eBay.


Lilykind, I love that anthro jacket SO MUCH. will it EVER go on sale?

I ended up getting this vintage bed jacket off ebay for $10 - not sure it was what I am looking for, but I'm trying to put an outfit together that will make it work - I feel like I need a satin cami with ivory trim or a plain satiny cami that is a bright color - that is on my list of things to buy!
Sorry for the HUGE picture, but the small one was too small to even see it at all!

I adore this look!  One I copied myself.  I went and scoured the racks of thrift stores in the area till I found a ???seventies??? dress that came with a lacy jacket.  I ended up shortening the sleeves and cutting off a large portion to make it more like a cropped sweater or shrug. The naturally aged ivory color looks so great paired with blue....I wear it over a longer blue cotton tank with chocolate brown bermudas.  One of my fave outfits!
