hey, my guy is a welder too, but he does mostly production welding in the shop he works at. he recently got promoted to shop foreman so that's kinda cool.

My fiance is an artist (painter) by education and vocation, but works as an assistant to the clergy at a local church to pay the rent.

My husband is the Sales and Marketing Manager for a private ambulance company and has a second job as a POC fireman for the city we live in.  He says "everyday he helps save lives" and he loves it!

My SO is a software engineer as well. It is nice because we can talk about our jobs (which are really different even though it is in the same industry) and learn from each other and really understand each other's work. We are dorks.

My hubby has one of those jobs that I never quite know what to say I believe it's called Building Management-but contrary to what it sounds like he is not a custodian.  He has to wear real office attire to work and he gets a desk and stuff. He talks to me about it but honestly it's all jibberish (I never really worked in an office environment so it's hard for me to relate).  He works with floor plans, the consturction people, movers, parking, everything having to do with the building.

My bf is in recruiting and sales for an IT Consulting firm.  He also owns his own night club promoting business in Chicago and he is a DJ (club, not wedding), a hobby that just happens to pay quite well.

One of the FEW reasons I miss having a boyfriend is being able to answer these polls. LOL :)
