Can anyone recommend a sports bra for larger chests?

I swear by Moving Comfort - they have bras designed specifically for the larger chested, and you can adjust the length of the straps for more or less support. They're definitely worth the $40.

I've tried this one on - the girls DO NOT MOVE with this on, but for me it was a little too constricting. However, this is the bra that Oprah swears by, and if I were a little bigger I'd probably opt for this bra.

Good luck! Having a good sports bra was one of the best investments I've made in sporting apparel. You should be looking to spend $40 - $50. Expensive, I know, but my bras have lasted a long time, and I'm sure they've save the girls a lot of wear and tear.

In college I worked at a women's sports wear store and all of the larger chested women swore by the Enell bra. It's the one that Oprah recommends. I was told it takes a little bit of getting used to. And you have to button from bottom up or else you get a weird squishy fit.

The picture of the back right there isn't accurate for larger cup sizes. Mine has two hook and eye closures - one at the bottom where it shows in that picture, and one at the top of the circle too. It's a little awkward at first, but after I got my BF to help me with it a couple times, I got the hang of it.

I'm a 32DD and my fave is the Champion underwire double-dry something or other. Mine has three hook closures, flattens and supports, but doesn't squish and doesn't create a total uniboob (though some uniboob is inevitable).

This is the one I wear too and it is great. I've never found a sports bra I felt comfortable in without wearing a regular bra under until I found this one. Definitely give this one a try.

Actually, I've been wondering this myself, so I'm also getting use out of your answers

I have a question though (not to hijack XtinaStyles thread!), but how many times in a row do you wear your sports bras before washing? I workout anywhere from 5-7 days a week, and currently, admittedly, wear the same sports bra, or alternate between 2, for awhile before washing *Hangs head in dirty shame*

I'm just wondering if whenever I do break down & purchase more expensive ones, how many do I really need, because if I wash after every use, I'm going to need 7 of them, which is going to add up!

I wear them twice before washing. I started with 2 at first and would wear the white one on Monday, black one on Tuesday, White on Wednesday, and black on Thursday then wash. As they go on sale I pick up 2 more so I'm up to 5 or 6 now which helps with staying "fresh" and washing.

To respond to Carrie's question: it depends on how much I'm sweating. I do a fair amount of yoga and dance, which is less intense. If I'm doing cardio or lifting weights, I usually only wear the bra once. Of course, I also have the opportunity to shower after each workout, so even if I'm on a second wearing, I'll be washing the grime off right after the workout.

^^I'm usually sweating pretty good, since I power walk and when it's 75 and up.....Yeah, I get sweaty

And yeah, I'm disgusting and still re-wear the bra *Hides*

I just really need to find some new sports bras, but right now, $40-$50 for a super awesome fitting one is so out of the question......Stupid boobs! I know it's "grass is always greener", but I truly envy those who aren't carrying 6 lbs of weight on their chests (erm, yes, I weighed them, LOL)

Ditto! I hate having huge boobs. It's awful.

I have the Fiona sports bra from Moving Comfort, and it's not bad. I don't think I'd be able to run in it, but I don't run, so I guess that's okay. wink

It does give me a really bad uniboob though.

Thanks to all! I ordered one of the Champion bras and will keep my eye out for some others that you recommended.

I took a hip hop dance class at my gym yesterday and made the mistake of only wearing a bra with a tank top w shelf bra over it. Mistake!

Have you tried ebay? I know buying underwear on ebay sounds grody, but I've bought bras that were "new with tags" before with no problems, and saved more than half

Bare Necessaties also sells that Champion bra so check there for a Memorial Day sale. Also the outlet for what is it Leggs, Bally, Hanes (or similar) sells Champion and that's where I first found these. Macy's/Dillards sells them too and I've found them on sale there as well. Just start looking around and googling and someone is bound to have them on sale.
