(Almost) BF Birthday gift
Permalink Closed

I’ve been dating a guy for about 2 months and I don’t know what to get him for his birthday. I don’t want something too personal and I think I’d like to spend under $40. He’s athletic, likes baseball, he runs, has a brand new house with very limited kitchen stuff, he’s really busy with work so he doesn’t watch a lot of TV or anything. Any ideas would be great.

Take him out to dinner, that way you don't have to worry that your gift is too personal or not personal enough! Boys are too hard to buy for especially if it is at the beginning of a relationship.

hmm does he ever use his kitchen? You could get him something for it like a cool knife to cut stuff with.  BB&B has the 7" knives like rachel ray and emeril use for $20.00.

the only thing with knives is taht some people think they are bad luck to give as gifts.  i don't personally, but you want to be sure he doesn't before giving them to him.

I think you are dating the same guy as me? I swear he fits the same exact description ;)  I would take him out to dinner, or maybe make him dinner at his house and buy him some kitchen stuff he needs. Or get him tickets to a baseball game for the two of you. If there is not a home game on or near his b-day then make it for one in the (near) future so you have something to plan on doing together! And maybe make a cd w/ songs he likes and can run too (I'm so cheesy like that though...) Or maybe make a cd w/ dinner music that you can play when making dinner for him, a romantic evening in perhaps? ;)
