Orange/Yellow/Green Workout Clothes
Permalink Closed

I am looking for fashionable workout clothes and need help.

Parameters:

  • No black

  • No logos on the butt of sweat pants
  • No bra tops as clothing
  • Cotton is great; you don't have to look for dri-fit type products (but they are good too)
  • I really, really, really want a kelly green top to work out in (graphics are ok if they aren't too juvenile)
  • Colors I really want to add the most are: green, yellow, and orange
  • I don't really need sport bras or shoes (just made my own pair from Nike)
  • I really need tops and pants mostly

I recently got lucky and found the following, and want to build around this type of clothing:

This is navy (in case it looks black to you)

I only bought the top in this set

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Do you have a Chick's Sporting Goods store near you? You cant shop online w/them but they have great workout clothes, very stylish!

I have found some great workout clothes for very inexpensive yet cute at Marshall's & TJ Maxx, just thought I'd mention it if you ever go into those stores to check it out. Their online stuff is usually ugly though

Tati, none of those around here.  Too bad; guess I will have to wait til they go online.

Thanks so much, LMonet. I  can't believe I didn't check out Nike before. I found several items:

I had to do a charge-send on these:

I like the Victoria's Secret top, but I didn't want to just order that and I don't need anything else right now, so I just passed.

I just have to say Nike's website really sucks.  People need to get over that crappy flash thing.  It does nothing but waste time (SOOOO slow) and cause aggravation.  To their credit it is pretty cool that you don't have to link into an item to see different colors; you can just click it on the main screen and the color will change without the page refreshing.

Totally by luck (I saw them in the dressing room at the rack where some girl left them), I found a pair of really awesome double layer mesh work out pants in green (like grass/kelly green) at TJ MAxx. I love them, but they are so low cut I can only where them when doing upper body because I could risk butt crack or an undie show from all the bending and crouching involved in working on legs.  Usually, though I find nothing.  You really have to be diligent (or lucky) at those places, huh?

I used to work across the street from Marshalls & Steinmart, so that was my lunchtime habit for a long time - very dangerous. So I guess my lucky came more from going on a nearly daily basis than anything else!!!! LOL - no butt crack at the gym young lady!!! LOL

I really like the Nike stuff you found.  Nike is my fave brand of work-out clothes--I have a pair of their dri-fit capri's and I feel like I can do anything in them.
