There is no way in HELL this can be de-sexified for a wedding, LOL.  It is far too scandalous on me!  I might keep it just to have a sexy dress, even though I have nowhere in my city to wear it (hehe), but yeah, not going to work for a wedding.  Hopefully the Bluefly one works out!

Nope, it's very fitted in a stretchy material (almost lycra), so it'll show any extra layers pretty easily. I have a slip that's lower cut, but even that under it would still be a bit much for a wedding, lol

I do like the dress, and will probably keep it, LOL, but I have to figure out where to wear it, lol

Hey, WTF??  Okay, when I ordered mine, it only came in the purple and hot pink.  Now it's just hot pink and black (the new color)!

Alright, now I'm re-thinking my possible decision to keep it. I just know I won't wear it out here, because it's going to be hard to find anything to go under it that covers a little, but that doesn't show itself. I'm also braless in these pics, which I will never do outside of my house, because of my size (DD). Just tried on my one slip with it and it shows, so I'm thinking it's just not the best idea to keep it, especially paying for it and never wearing it.

It is a nice dress, but if you do not think, you will ever have a reason to wear it I would return it and put the money towards something else.

Yeah, I think the rational part of my brain is kicking in, so I think I'll be returning it. Thanks ladies!

I'm going to wait till I get the dress from Bluefly first, so if I have to return that as well, I only have to make one PO trip

Looks great on you but I understand what you mean - if you live in a place that people don't dress up much or you won't have the chance to wear it it's probably not worth it. I've done that a lot with clothes I love and then never really have the right place to wear them- it's frustrating!

^^Yep, that's exactly it. I do like it and like how it fits on me, but I'm in a university town in the middle of Iowa, so it's just not what people wear here. I'd be more than likely pretty uncomfortable out in public in it, which sucks!

I love it in black. Could you wear it for a fancy night out w the bf? or even girls night out? or vacation???

For $20 .. and it will be at least $5 shipping to return... for me itd be worth $15 just to try it on when I was needing a self esteem boost.

Well I have no BF, lol, so that's out!  The problem is that it's a college town in the middle of Iowa.  My city is now cleared from students for the summer too.  There's just nowhere here that people dress like that, so I would be very uncomfortable going out in it.  I also have issues with my boobs, in that I'm not comfortable with them being as big as they are, so this dress is just a lot of display for them.

As far as returning it, I ordered 2 sizes, since I didn't know which one would work, so I already have to mail back one anyways.  I'll be paying for return shipping no matter what.

If I lived in a different city (like Vegas or somewhere in Florida, etc.), then I might feel a bit different, and not feel so out of place in it.

I think you look great in it, but you're right, it's not the right dress for a wedding and it's not gonna fly most places in Iowa (I have family in Des Moines and visit there at least 1 or 2x a year. It's a pretty casual place.) If you're already returning one of the dresses, you might as well return both and put the cash towards something that you will get lots of use out of.

The color looks good with your skin tone, so at least that's promising for the Bluefly one, right?
