I'm going with the French Connection dress as my 'summer events' dress (graduation + 2 daytime church weddings). For all these events, I want to wear the bronzy gold shoes pictured (Anne Klein 'Kira' from last year, a number of the girls here have them).



The Kerry Cassill dress was unfortunately bought at a place that only does store credit and exchanges. But I can exchange the $98 dress for these $100 Kimberly Faith earrings, but in gold as oppsed to silver...(sorry for the gigantamundo pic). Thoughts on these? I would wear them with A LOT, but I'm not sure how I feel on spending $100 on this type earrings (but I'll happliy buy a dress/shirt/shoes for $100 that I'll wear once...).

Also, I need a shrug to wear at the church weddings. I would be willing to entertain any options under $100. Here are some I kinda like. Thoughts?

I like the earrings a lot-and my preference for the shrug is the one from Old Navy, then Express

i've been making jewelry and i don't think those earrings are worth $100.  plus, i'm sure you can find something similar for much cheaper.  but i really like the shrug on the right (paired w/the black cami) -- where's it from?

that dress looks great on you...I think go with the Express shrug...and those earings...they are beautiful....

Maya-its from Express, & I like that one as well.  The others look to casual IMO.  Is there nothing else you would want from that store?  $100 is a lot for those, and I say that b/c they dont look to original or wow, ya know?  Your dress is awesome, good choice.

There are a lot of things I would want from that store...I kinda shouldn't even start. Hmmm....



  • R&R Scorpions (or maybe those Roths with the glittery pockets...yum!)

  • Seven Miller trousers

  • Vanessa Bruno sweater

  • half of their stock of Development

I'm just trying to control myself because I def. don't need any of the above listed items.

It's totally up to you, but I saw some earrings that look identical to that at Claires and at Macys.  I'm sure the quality is much better on yours but there earrings!  Unless you have your heart set on them, I think you could find several other ways to spend that $100
