Okay, my first post vanished into thin air,so I hope this one post okay.  I got this belt, which I love for $100 org. $150. It's Renato Angi, made in Italy.  Now, that's a lotta dough for a belt. Should I keep or return?

keep it- it's awesome because it isn't what you see around on a daily basis.  It looks almost like it's from a British military uniform in the 1700's (I don't know..maybe?)  There's something awesome about it.  Where did you find it so that I can have one too?

Take it back.  No sensible college girl should have a $100 belt.  Come to think of it - no one should have a $100 belt.  That is just ridiculous.  JMO.

I do like that one, but i do not think it is worth $100.  I guess a belt is an accessory, though, so ask yourself if you would spend that much on a different accessory and there is your answer.  I have a feeling you are going to keep it no matter what (i always do when i ask such questions), but need validation for keeping it.  I think it is way too much but if that makes you happy and won't put you in debt, go for it.  We all have our own seemingly irrational (only to others of course!) purchases.

Now, if the belt would anchor a whole boatload of outfits (which it looks like it would), I would keep it. It's really very special and cool and you could totally pull it off.


Personally, I'd return it because I have no use for most belts.

hmm,  i see farrah's point, but i really like the belt. plus i've found that belts can really do wonders for an outfit, so i'm inclined to say keep it.

I feel the same way. I'm slightly torn because that is alot for a student, but I purchased a Linea Pelle belt a couple months ago and can't stop wearing it. It seriously on every outfit I wear on the weekends. I say if you can wear it that much and truly love it.. then keep it. Also belts are a great item for your closet that can take an outfit from plain to trendy. You may need to retire it after some time but can probably resurrect it in the future.
