where did you go again? how was the flight?

omg, u guys as soooo sweet!!  karina, the only pics of me & my bf are in the "party pics" section, if that's what ur referring to, thank you... if not, thank you still but neither of the hawaii pics guys are my bf .  also, i'm guessing ur asking "when" i went... i think the "where" part should be answered by the title of my post... i went apr. 11-18.  i'm not sure exactly where i stayed (if that's what u were asking), but it wasn't in waikiki.  we stayed w/ my coworker's dad kinda close to hanauma bay, or at least that side of the island.  the flight was ok on the way there, met a nice local lady & we talked for a bit.  on the way back tho there were like 30 screaming babies & when we landed we had to taxi for half an hour cuz our flight had been delayed & there was traffic, so people turned on their phones since we had landed & someone's phone kept ringing & they couldn't find it.  super annoying, but as far as turbulence & stuff it was cool.

LOL, karina, u crack me up!!  the flight is about 5.5 hrs each way from LA so i guess about 8.5 from NYC.  there was people there from all over the world tho, some having flown 12 hrs!!  when i flew to england i was 8 so have no recollection of it, mostly cuz i slept thru the whole thing, but it was pretty long.  i think if u can sleep on a plane (or use the time for reading, like i did) the time will go quickly.  it's so fun & beautiful, i think it's worth the flight!

well, depends, some of the pics were taken w/ my nikon coolpix 3700 (3.2 MP, 3x op zoom) & some were taken w/ my friend's 5 MP camera but i'm not sure what brand it was.  if you have a specific picture u thought was good, let me know & i'll tell u which camera took it.

Crystal, your pics are absolutely wonderful! Your poses make them so fun and lively! We just got back from Hawaii yesterday and we had such a great time, too! I want to go back there!


Karina, we flew from Boston. It was 6 hours from Boston to LA and another 5 and a half hours from LA to Honolulu. But it was definitely worth it! American Airlines planes are not that cramped so you are actually able to stretch your legs.

I think the "me and omar in front of rabbit island" and "me in front of coy pond" are fabulous pictures- they are so clear!  They look like the fake photos that come with the camera to show that you have a good camera.  I feel like I can see every individual leaf!  And the first one- I want to go there!  It looks like the perfect time of day =)
