Thanks for the well wishes, ladies.  We will probably have to wait until next week to do the deed, because I doubt we will have the rings and dress ready by the end of this week, but whatever it's coming soon enough now.


I will be sure to take pictures of Mr. Drew and me, and will gladly post for all to see.

I hate to be the devil's advocate but what will your family say when they aren't included? I only ask because I did this & my family freaked because they weren't involved, but I really think that it is unfair that you have to consider other people's feelings, IT IS YOUR DAY. I just wonder how you are getting around because gee I wish I could have!!!

That being said - I think it is the most romantic & wonderful way to do it - it is about the two of you, not everyone else, & my heart went out to you when you said even running off to Jamaica you were just planning that for everyone else. No matter what, it will always be your (you & his) special day & I think that is just so romantic & perfect.

Congrats & I hope I didn't damper your mood at all, it is not my intention!!! Your dress is AWESOME by the way!

It feels so good to have all of your support :) .


I accidently spilled the beans to my trainer last night too.  Oh well.  But, really, noone else knows. 


laken1, thanks for the concern.  Jamiaca was actually our idea that my sister stole and did it before we could.  The family was mad, and we didn't want to do that because, 1) it had already been done and 2) we didn't want to "copy" her wedding; we wanted something different for us. 


I know the family will be really upset about how we are choosing to get married, but after 6 years of worring about family, I have had enough time to get over it and not care anymore.  They can be upset and get over it; I did (about worrying about them).  Everybody will be fine after they get used to the idea.

i loved my huge wedding but i know that i would have been just as happy alone with him.  enjoy every single second and treasure every thrilling moment!
