I'm excited because we've been invited to two weddings this year.  I didn't expect it, so it's an extra nice surprise.  Neither wedding sounds too fancy, but I don't have any other events for which I can dress up.  Yay!

BTW: One of the weddings is on Halloween!

I totally know what you mean. 15 years ago when I had to go to umpteen weddings every summer, it was drudgery. At my age, well, almost any excuse to dress up is welcome. Can't wait for my friends to start having their second and third weddings...
