I need major support in a swimsuit, and in the past I've found that underwire works best for me. Those shelf bras give me a horrible uniboob and the "soft cups" are always too small and don't work at all.

I'm not at all comfortable in bikinis, so I'm looking specifically for a tankini style. I saw this one in the VS catalog (I would get it in blue), but it's kind of boring:



Does anyone have suggestions for suits with good support for the top heavy?

I feel you on the underwire thing.  I have yet to find a tankini though with an underwire in it so while the VS one may be plain it might be your only option.  I think it looks nice and I'd at least order it and return it if you just didn't like it.

Sorry...I'm not sure if I can be of any help, but I have been desperately searching for one as well. I wish us well endowed girls had more options.  The VS suit is cute, but I personally don't have any luck with suits with skinny little straps.  Not sure if you checked out JCrew but they have some tankini tops with hidden underwire in their swim separates line:



I've tried a couple of their "D" cup suits but nothing I'm really crazy about.

Thanks. I just looked at JCrew...I do kind of like the D-cup halter top, but I'm afraid that tie around the neck is going to be straaaaaaaaaaining.
