thanks again everyone!  i went to the other store today and they had already sold out of all of them - so i ordered them sight unseen from the "red phone" in the store.  b/c i ordered them from the store i still got to take advantage of their offer of 25% off all shoes, and i got free shipping, which was updated to free express shipping b/c it was technically full price.  so i should get them by wednesday!

jamiek - if you want them in brown, you could do what i did and have them order them for you in the store, it's cheaper than ordering online and less of a hassle than driving to a bunch of different stores.  also, the SA helping me said she owned the dark brown and wears them all the time.  that is a good color choice too i think (just not for me b/c i wear too much black).
