a question....

I just received an email from a family member with my cousins wedding web site on it. She and Him go about writing how they met and so on. Now in the part they met I had a lot to do with it. I pretty much hooked them up and gave them a big jump start to their first date. My name was not mentioned, instead the word "friend" was used. Should I let it bother me? or no big deal, get over it? I'm not going to confront them, of course not, just thought they might have used my name, thats all.

No biggie - If it were me creating my 'meeting story' on a website that hundreds of people would see, I wouldn't include names of key people only because not everyone knows them by name.  It could potentially be quite distracting and keeping the specifics to a minimum just keeps everything nice and simple.

Example:

. . . . but Tatiana insisted that David and I meet and we really ended up hitting it off . . .

Cue Uncle Leonard: "Tatiana?  Who's Tatiana?  I thought David was marrying Sarah?"

Cue Aunt Edna: "He is marrying Sarah you goon!  Tatiana is the name of the person who . . . "
