I have had these Carlos Santana "Saki"  heels for about 3 years and have never worn them.    I really want to wear them, but I have never come up with an outfit.  I know it needs to be simple so that it doesn't compete with the shoes.  Can someone help?  Thanks.

hmm - maybe a tan/khaki pencil skirt with a light pink or white button down blouse tucked in and a skinny leather belt in maybe pink or pale yellow (if wearing a white blouse; i wouldn't do a yellow belt with a pink blouse or it might look too easter-egg-ey).  you could also pair it with a solid shirtdress in khaki (or any of the colors of the shoes) and add a cute belt or wear them with a nice solid colored wrap dress and add accessories (i.e. a long neckalce).  hth a little!

I have the black patterned version of those and love them! I've worn them with mainly solid colored dresses, in my case deep pink, grass green and black.

Hmm. That is tough. Are those rhinestones around the strap?

Agreeing with the other suggestions and searching ... maybe something like this?

They look fancy to me, so I'd save them for dresses - especially neutrals like gray, tan/taupe, olive, navy maybe, mustard maybe (since it looks like there's gold in the pattern). I like the suggestion of spicing that up with jewelry.

LOVE!!! Thanks everyone for your ideas.  I already have the skirt in mind.

To add to the skirt/skinny belt idea - i think that a skinny wrap around belt looks particularly good with a pencil skirt.  if you haven't seen them - they are a super long version of a skinny belt that wraps around twice.  j crew had a version that is a melon/mint color - i have it and it works great with a lot of outfits.  i'm not sure  that color would work (they're probably oos now anyway b/c it was on sale) and they're kind of hard to find but it's just something to think about.  if you see one, try it!

It can also go with 3/4 denim pants or  midi/mini denim skirt with a top in chocolate/yellow/purple/white/black/cream/fuscia/greens, etc.....
