i know someone has these shoes -

i'm stalking them on ebay right now, but i'm afraid that i won't wear them - i'd be afraid to ruin them.  i'm pretty rough on my shoes...so do they scratch easily?  how do they fit? are they comfy?  i have no other mj shoes () but i think i need to take the plunge.

ASF- i have those shoes.  I love them but they take some breaking in and they run small!  I have a 10 in them, i usually take a 9 or 9.5.  They don't look brand new any more (i've had them for about a year?) but they still look good.  The soles are worn and the silver is peeling off of the points a little.  I've also had to replace two rhinestones (one i did a good job, the other one, not really- it isn't as shiny as the others)  But I don't regret buying them at all.  I get so many compliments on them and they go with more things than you would think.  I am wearing them here:

shoot, they run small?  i'm a pretty solid 7, and i found these in a 7...i suppose if they don't fit i could put them back on ebay.  do the rhinestones fall off easily or did something happen (what would happen, i don't know, but i figured i'd ask anyway)...

and thanks lynnie!

I think they run prob. a half size small because of the point.  I do sometimes wear a size 10, so its hard to say if that's when the shoes run small, or if i am actually a size 10 and my size 9 shoes are actually shoes that run big.  If you always always wear a size 7, you should probably try to find a size 7.5.  But you could always eBay them again like you said.  The rhinestones fell off because they were poorly glued.  One fell off before I even wore them outside of the house.  I think the quality is DEF. a ripoff for $300, but half price, it's a good deal.  I bought them because I loved the look and style, and to me that was worth it.  I got them half price too.

asf, I have them too.  I am a 6 1/2 and mine are a 7 1/2.  I would not suggest getting your real size because they won't fit.  As far as ruining them I had sole guards put on the bottoms so that they would be protected and they have held up quite well.  I also wear the little rubber gels on the balls of the inside for a little added comfort.  HTH!!

Thanks Farrah (my sister's name!!! hehe)  The bolero is Rachel Pally, and the top underneath is a tank from Anthro last year.  i bought it from www.sunwalters.com , but it is sold out now.  She was really nice about it (i had to wait for a return, and she shipped it to me) and I got 30% off with the luckymag code (til the end of april).  So now I kind of want this Mon Petit Oiseau top from there:

Late to the party but I have those shoes too (of course right? hehe).  I bought them exactly a year ago at the bloomies sale that's taking place now.  I ended up exchanging the size 7 for a 7.5 because they do run small even for my narrow feet.  I also have those gel inserts in them.  They've held up quite well over time, much better than other metallic shoes I have.  HTH!

PS - Farrah, BCBG makes a bolero like the RP one but it's knit. I bought it about a month or two ago and I've been wearing it to death.   Seriously, it's my favorite coverup.  If I get a chance I'll post a pic next time.  It's super cool!
