I'm in a wedding in June in Key West.  Any ideas for accessorizing (shoes, purse, jewelry, etc.)??  We will be on a beach for the ceremony.  Are flip flops too casual?  Our bridesmaid dresses look like this...

If the bride is wearing heels herself then I would stay away from flip flops, but that doesn't mean you have to sport the heels also. Did she give you any specifications on stuff, or does she truly want each bridesmaids personality to show through? The reason why I ask is in my experience my friends have asked me to wear certain shoes, and always given the jewelry to wear, I never got to pick.

I love the idea of some shell jewelry or pearls would be cute too, but not your average pearsl, flat coin pearls like these might be fun....


Maybe not 3 strands but this type of a pearl would be equally bridesmaidish and beachish, to me at least.

Something similar to these, but not in silver.
