Ugh. Shopped a lot.

-UO belt & socks with Canadian flag on them
-green mini houndstooth skirt & polka dotted gauzy scarf from thrift store
-white house black market dress from outlet...$150 marked down to $20!




-a bunch of kitchen stuff from Sur La Table and the Williams Sinoma outlet - wooden spoon, cupcake decorations, a baking mat, measuring cups, platters...and what I'm nerdily excited about the most, an adjustable measuring cup (got this in measuring cup and measuring spoon versions)

This is what I got this weekend.  It was a total surprise.  As some of you know, I sew...alot.  It is my hobby and stress reliever.  I also do some machine embroidery (initialing towels, etc) I have had the same embroidery machine, serger, and palette (software for machine embroidery) for 10 years.  I have been wanting a new embroidery machine for awhile.  My husband and I carried my serger to be serviced on Friday.  When we got in the store, I asked them for a quote on a package (new embroidery machine, new serger, new palette).  I was thinking 3 to 4 years down the road.  They gave me the quote and my husband told me to get it.  I almost fell down in the store. eyepopping.gif  He said it was my birthday and anniversary present for the next 25 years biggrinbiggrinbiggrin.  Here they are--I am so beyond excited, that I have literally woken up in the middle of the night and wondered if it is all just a dream.  You may think I am crazy, but for someone who sews, this is a huge deal.
I just had to share my excitement.

Hmmm. I can only talk you *out* of the Francis Francis -- they aren't very well made machines. You can do better even for that price.

I heart.gif those.  I have been finding yummy heels all over the place and will not be able to wear any of them this summer because I'll have swollen pregnanty lady feet! My mom and I have been searching everywhere for "comfy" but cute summer shoes that are also work appropriate (can't wear flip flops at work). I DO NOT wear ugly shoes so... it's not going well. I am very jealous.
