Try not to panic more and make things worse.  Thoughts tend to snowball once you are feeling out of control and you can spin into a real bad place.

Have you tried some deep breathing just to calm yourself a bit and slow down your heart, shaking, etc?

Can you call your doctor and get an appointment?  Is there a close friend or family member you can call to come talk with you?

Whenever I start to get really high anxiety, I start to get really overwhelmed by over thinking.  Try to just focus on this very moment and what you can accomplish today.  Thinking too far ahead will just make things worse!

From what you've told us, you are obviously going through a very difficult time personally. It's completely understandable that you would have all of these jumbled up overwhelming feelings. The only advice I can give you is to not keep them bottled up. Don't try to hide them from the people who care for you. Your friends and family will want to help you and you need to let them.

I know we don't really know each other, but I live in Chicago and if you need to talk to somebody just PM me. I'd be happy to just listen.

I've been there too. My doctor recommended seeing a therapist immediately, which I did. It made all the difference for me. It just allowed me to release a huge burden of worry, stress, anxiety, and issues that you can't talk to friends or family about. Please try to talk to someone if you can!!!

Oh sweetie -- hang in there and EAT something. Please contact whoever is prescribing your meds to discuss your syptoms. You are probably experiencing side effects of an interaction - and they will get worse if you have no food in your system to dull them.

Agitation/panic, confused states, suicidal thoughts, breathing problems...all possible from an interaction of the types of meds you are taking.

This is what I was going to say. You are going through a rougher time than I ever have, and I can't even imagine how you must feel. But a couple years ago I was having some personal & health problems and I felt SO alone and hopeless. I kept looking forward to the future and getting so discouraged because I felt like it would never get better. I went to a psychiatrist, and I only needed *2* appointments to feel like a different woman. If I hadn't sought help, I don't know what would have happened - I probably would have kept spiraling.

I'm sorry you're going through this Collette :( I've been there. I used to hide in the bathroom at work and start hyperventilating. I cried endlessly. I never thought it would get better. But what they say is true, and eventually it did. It's hard to believe it but keep telling yourself over and over... all the cliches: This too shall pass, everything in life is a lesson that makes us stronger, etc. etc.
Try not to be alone, and vent as much as you want to anyone who will listen (including us). Minimize the triggers - for me it was bedtime, and multiple pauses during the day where I had little or nothing going on. Keep busy busy busy. Distract yourself with whatever you can think of. Do you see a therapist? See her more often if you need to. Ditto checking into the meds' side effects.
Take care of yourself and if you need anything I am around the area too, and usually online :)
You can do this. You are strong and you are better than all the ugly things you have to face.

i am so sorry, collette.  i can't imagine what you are going through, but i have had panic attacks before and they really suck.  i definitely think you should contact your health care professional immediately, and try to eat something if you can.  things WILL get better- hang in there.

Big big hugs (((((hug)))) I'm so sorry. PLEASE know that this WILL get better and it can be helped.

I agree about trying to eat and drink lots of water - I don't know how long you've been on the meds but interactions and side effects can become worse even if you haven't just recently started them.  Biochemistry changes and definitely some drugs can make things worse and something new may be a better fit right now.
Also- it's Spring and I know that the increase in light levels and things can throw things out with treatment and add to panic etc - can be a trigger anyway.

I know that doesn't help the other things you're going through but I agree that seeing a profesional and making sure you have the tools working for you to help you get through the bad times is so so helpful. I know how it feels and it's pure hell but I also know it CAN and WILL get better.

What everyone else said...If you can, try to go to a park or somewhere else that is outside, sometimes just the feeling of the spring air and the grass and trees can help calm your mind...divorces suck donkey balls (experience talking here) but it is darkest before the dawn. You are in my thoughts...stay strong.

(((hugs))) I agree with what the other girls said, I would contact the doctor who prescribed your medications to be sure what you are experiencing is not side effects. In addition, if you are not already seeing a psychologist it would probably be helpful to see one; there are techniques for dealing with anxiety and panic attacks that may help.
