How are they?  How do they run?  Does anyone have these:

Hehe, these are cute- they remind me of Miss Trish of Capri

hehehheeh, I know!  I can't help myself.  Shoes, sigh.  I'm not buying them at the moment but I was curious because I've wanted them for a while and now they're only on eBay.

hey lynnie-

i have several pair of j.crew shoes. i'd say that for the most part they run true to size. i do have one pair of ankle strap pumps that i had to go down a full size (and they're still a little floppy) but i think that was just a freak thing with that style.

speaking of that pair... they are also not very comfortable. but, i have two pair of j.crew boots that i've had for 3+ years that are awesome comfortable and i had a pair of sandals many years ago that i wore to death (literally) that were incredibly comfortable.

their shoes are really well made or at least the pairs i have are.

not much help eh?

I have several pairs of JCrew shoes.  I love their boots and flip flops...both I find very confortable.  In terms of shoes its been hit or miss either very comfortable not at all comfortable.  I find the shoes to be all over the map in terms of size...I have tried on several of the spring shoes and many run a full size big including:

These run about half a size small:

I have this pair and they are very uncomfortable...but my foot is on the wide side...I think they are a little too narrow for me...otherwise they are true to size

I have this pair at home in two sizes...I'm a 7 1/2...I ordered a 7 and 8 because I had no idea on size...I think I am leaning toward the 8.

I have had a pair of jcrew kitten heel (similar to your 1st one) for many years.  They're comfortable NOW.. but I remember it took me a long time to break them in.  They are pretty stiff.

HTH.

Lynnie, I wish I had a digital camera so I could post a picture but I don't.  They shoes are very cute...soft leather, beautiful turquoise color and the fish detail is adorable.  I don't have the prettiest feet but they look better on than other sandals I've tried. They seem to run true to size. I wish they did come in half sizes...I'm a 7 1/2....I feel like the 7 is a smidge to short and the 8 is a smide too long, but I think I will end up keeping the 8's.  I might consider cutting the back strap off...simply because I prefer thongs to slings.
