I like the colour and the shape of the front of the shoe, but it looks slightly weird to me - maybe because of the shape of the heel... But maybe it looks better on?

I agree with dangergirl - I like the color and I think I would love the shape if it wasn't for that heel. I think it's too thick or too chunky or too....something. As a whole package it strikes me as a little matronly, because of that heel.

I think they're adorable, they don't look awkward to me, they are pretty classic. My only worry would be the suede getting damaged, especially when you clean suede the color tends to fade.

FYI I saw them IRL today in store and they were $69.99. Can you find them in store or get an adjustment?

ooh i hope they don't look matronly. hmm, i still think i like them but I am actually going to try them on in the store. they are on hold for me at my b & m store.

xtinastyles - i'm glad you liked them and i didn't realize they were $69 in the store (an SA called for me and asked them to hold them and i just assumed they were 99 still). good to know, thanks! going there tomorrow to try them on.

I love the color, but agree with the others the heel is off. Plus for me pale suede + life=dirty faded shoes:(

They do look a little matronly/frumpy to me. My hunch is that they're cuter in person though. If they have them in the store, they're certainly worth a look.

I agree that they're probably cuter in person. I was just browsing the site and looked at that shoe in the other colors, which were photographed both from above and straight on, and I didn't think they looked matronly at all. I bet they're really cute.

thanks again, everyone! i plan to go to JC today to check them out and will report back. i still love them, but will try to have an open mind. i am a little concerned about the potential for getting dirty or ruined too, esp since we will be living in a highly polluted and trafficky city in a couple of months.

i got them and i love them! they are really cute irl (imo) - a lot of ppl were commenting on how cute they were when i tried them on (i tried them on with skinny jeans).

kitty - let me know if you have any questions or if you want me to post irl pics. also, try to get them at a B&M - they're cheaper ($69 vs. $99 online).
