I want to buy a Rosetta Stone for my boyfriend for his birthday, but I really don't want to spend the full $400 or such. Is there a website that has them discounted (I wouldn't mind if it were used) or is there a student discount? How do I get the best deal on this? TIA

Check amazon, half.com and ebay.

I wish they would get cheaper already, I want Rosetta Stone too, in Spanish and French, but I can't afford even the used prices.

Isn't it some sort of computer program? Can you download it on multiple computers? Wondering how it works if you buy it used. I've been interested in buying too.

me too..........400 is a little under half my rent.....no can do. I see them at the mall in those little kiosks...........Never knew there were that expensive.

Maybe qvc or hsn has them and you can flex pay?

My coworker wants to get this as well.  She was thinking about buying it with her tax refund but then had car repairs.  From what she could find you could put it on 3 or 5 computers legally so she was trying to split the cost with her mom and sister.

Not sure how it would work buying it used especially if all of the licenses were used up.
