michele watchbands - update... got my band!

i'm looking to purchase a new band or two for my michele urban square and i'm thinking of trying ebay for a generic since the michele brand bands run $75-$150 a piece (ouch!). does anyone have any positive experience with a particular seller that they can share? my main concern is quality.

hotcocoa- i have no experience, but i am hoping someone responds to this as well!  it would be nice not to spend $100-150 on a michele watch band!  right now i only have 2 bands.  a tan alligator and a burgandy alligator...

hey bex

i just took a chance on an ebay seller (globalwatchbands) and bought a springy green lizzard band that will fit my watch for $38 + $2 shipping. it's not a "michele" band, but for half the price i'm hoping that i won't care. if the quality is good, i'll be happy.

anyone else? anyone?

let me know how you like it as far as quality when you get it.  $38 beats $150 any day for a different and fun color!

what color do you guys have on the face of your watches? mine is the large "urban" round style, but the face of it is light pink, so i feel like i can really only use a light pink band that matches.  the problem is that they get so yucky and dirty in that color.  any ideas for me? i could use a new band for mine as well.

bex: got my watchband that i bought on ebay and it's really nice. gosh, it's like i have a whole new watch!

the seller is globalwatchband and he has a website too (globalwatchband.com). i think i'll be getting another one.

if you get one, let me know how it compares to the real michele bands. i think i'm going to be happy with this one for $38

bumblebee: the face of my watch is white so i have a lot of options. but i think the pink face would go well with brown for a neutral. you could go one step on either side of the color wheel and go with a burnt orange or a lilac or plum. if mine were pink i'd be experimenting a lot!

i have the mini urban as well and the face is white but does yours (hotcocoa) look like it has almost like a starburst from the center of the watch out?  does that make sense??? i never noticed before until i was looking at it just now...


anyway- the face is white so, i, too have a lot options... what color did you get hotcocoa?  i think i want something fun and different- maybe pink?


i'll let you know when i get one how i think it compares...

this is the color i just got. it's so great.



my watch is actually called the urban square. there is nothing "mini" about it. it's quite large! i don't see a starburst though. must be a mini urban thing!

ahah- mine is the mini urban and yours must be the urban...  yes, yours is much bigger than mine...


i just the green!  i looked on his website but i couldn't find "michele" specific bands- but i didn't look long- just breezed around...
