raspberry punch recipes??
Permalink Closed

I am hosting a baby shower the second week in Mayb for a childhood/ high school friend and she wants a raspberry sherbet or sorbet punch--

anyone ever make one? I found this one---I love pink grapefruit juice but I was wondering how that would taste....I guess I didn't think most people liked grapefruit juice.

 any other punch recipes??

Raspberry Punch recipe

46 oz pink grapefruit juice
12 oz raspberry juice
1 qt raspberry sherbet
2 liters ginger ale

Method

Pour pink grapefruit juice and ginger ale into a punch bowl. Add raspberry juice or 12 oz frozen raspberries (stir to un-thaw). Add sherbet and stir until melted.

I make this one a lot, but I don't have exact measurements for you. I just keep adding stuff until it tastes good. It looks similar to yours but uses pineapple juice instead of grapefruit.

Cran/raspberry juice
pineapple juice
Raspberry sherbert
ginger ale or sprite (sprite makes it a little sweeter, I prefer ginger ale)

I also make an ice ring out of the pineapple juice, cran-rasp. juice and lime slices to float in the punch bowl. That way it keeps the punch cool, but it doesn't get watered down when the ice melts.

i was thinking about doing the frozen ring too--i was going to use a bundt pan and use juice and some raspberries.

I used one of those more decorative bundt pans and it came out really pretty. You don't have to spray the pan with non-stick spray. Once the ring is frozen, take it out of the freezer and rest the bottom of the bundt pan in a tray/bowl of hot water. The water will melt the ring enough so that it'll slide right out of the pan.
