So i started my shopping yesterday because my bf and i are going on vacation.  whooo hooo!


 i knew i would kick myself if i didn't get them. 


BCBG Max Azria Catosactually really comfy.  it's a rubber sole.

I got this at my local dept. store (Belk).  Anthro is selling it for $68.  Belk's price tag was $58 plus I got a friends and family even coupon, so it was $46.  Ha, I am such a bargain braggart.  SOOO, if any of you girls live near a Belk, they had some cute sweet pea tops--I had to stop myself from buying more!

-A 3/4 sleeve black, 2-button blazer from Forever 21 It's got a satin ribbon that ties in the front also. It's cute, but it's for work, so not really my idea of fun shopping (for the job that's uber picky about dress code-never "fun" to shop for because I can't get really cute stuff or spend a lot of money on clothes for it. Too much risk of having items ruined by butter, oil, salt and pop syrup). Sorry, no link or picture for it....

-Boring stuff from Target: Kleenex, Band-Aids, dry Swiffer wipes, new Life & Style mag, People Style Extra

Karina- I tried on those nine west shoes because I thought they were soooo cute but my foot was too wide.  Another lady said the same thing happened to her. Do you have skinny feet? Or do they fit a bit strangely? I was so disappointed because they are 50% off at Robinson's May with a 10%( or is it 15%) on top, and they had all the colors available.

and these shoes from Steve Madden.  I love them!




I got the teal, which is sold out everywhere in my size- I finally found it.  I might also get a white pair to go with some of my summer dresses or a black pair to go with a lot of other things that teal doesn't go with.  I got the teal to go with the skirt that's been giving me hell- but now I think that black would look better since the skirt is so dull grey.  The style looks nice with it though and I will wear the teal for now since I can't afford another pair of shoes right now.



Now I just need a top for the skirt.

I'm not Karina, but I have those Nine West shoes in the coral, and they didn't fit me funny, but I do have skinny feet.  That really stinks that they didn't fit you right   Did you try maybe going a size up?

I figured I would mostly wear it to the beach.  Over a bikini, with a tank and sandals. My hubby said it was nice though and would like to see me wear it as a "normal outfit" so I am going to expreriment with some other stuff and I will let you know.

Yeah, I tried sizing up but it didn't work, that just made the shoes big lengthwise.  Keep in mind though that I had some serious foot sugery (dual bilateral bunionectomy) last year so I don't exactly have "normal" feet.  I figure I'll just have to miss out on these shoes.

I found a pretty grass green, tie front BCBG MaxAzria cardi with pockets at TJ Maxx.


I also got these Steve Maddens. They're my new comfy walking-around shoes (ETA: Yeah, right... And now I have terrible blisters after walking in them for 15 minutes!)



And I went ahead and ordered this adorable pink skirt I posted earlier. Actually, I also ordered it in aqua so I'm going to keep the one I like better (not sure what happens if I like them both equally...)

I was such a good girl until I walked into the Ross three blocks away from my apartment.


Hudson flap pocket mini...mine doesn't have those big holes, but it does have all the other distressing along the seam ($29.99)...I may not keep this.
