Hi everyone! I haven't posted in a long time, and was only a semi-frequent poster, so I'm not sure if you remember me. Anyway, a lot has been going on with me over the past few months -- I started a new career in September, was happily married in November after 11 years together, and my husband was laid off from his engineering job in January (however, he's been interviewing for a couple of new, even better jobs, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise).  So, life's been just a bit hectic, but overall great!

Anyway, it's great to see so many familiar faces and I just wanted to say hello. Looking forward to talking with you again!

Hi Christine!! I was reading back through the wedding section yesterday... I saw some of your old posts, and I was wondering where you went. Sounds like you've been through a lot in the past few months. First off, congrats on being married! I'm sorry to hear about your husband's job, but I love your attitude about the situation. I'm sure it is a blessing in disguise and he'll have no problem finding a better job. I hope to see you around more often!

Sandy - Yeah, the layoff was difficult news to hear at first, but while there aren't a lot of open positions, he's really interested in the few that he's interviewing for. So hopefully things will turn around soon!

NCshopper - Yes, I'll definitely post pics! After I get home tonight, I'll add a new post in the wedding sectionsmile
