i still have $40 left on a BR gift card from christmas and i really want to spend it!  nothing at BR was blowing me away this winter/early spring, so i've held off.  i get extra picky when i have a gift card- like i want to make sure i don't "waste" it or something.  (is anyone else like this?)  now suddenly the $40 is burning a hole in my pocket!  help me spend it!  here are a few things i've been eyeing...what do you all think?

  whoa!  in the middle of posting this, BR shut down their website for a "scheduled upgrade."  weird.  does that mean they're putting new stuff up right now???  hmmm, guess i'll add more tomorrow.  anyone else, feel free to post suggestions!  (doesn't have to be limited to $40 or less) thanks!

I love the shrug and the belt. And I know exactly what you mean about spending gift certificates. It is almost like you have been given a precious document that must be used in the wisest possible manner. It is some kind of mental block, like you have to make the giver proud of you by spending it in a fabulous way.

exactly!  gift cards gvie me a serious mental block- and that never happens when i shop!

Good call HeatherLynn.  I do have it.  Mine is pink and it fits adorably.  It is very flowy and flattering.  I can not wait to wear it.  I have all kinds of outfits picked out for it.  I will most definitely wear it with these beauties:

Farrah - how does this shirt fit?  I've been eyeing it, but I'm a c-cup and was worried it might not flatter larger chested girls.

Unfortunately I am the wrong person to ask this question.  Much to my bf's shagrin I have little ta-tas so it fits me great, but I wouldn't be able to provide an opinion about a C cup.  BR has a great retirn policy though.  You can actually return items you buy online to the store which is way cool.  HTH!!

Awesome - thanks for the  info - I did not know you could return to the store if you bought online.  I think I'm gonna hit the North Ave. Express tonight anyhow, so I'll just run in BR.

That is my fave BR!!  It is also wear I bought my top.  I don't know if you have a car, but if you drive there and park in the garage BR will validate parking for you so it is free:).

okay, so i've decided that i'm loving the belt and i think i need it.  now which color?  i'm leaning towards the darker one because i have a gold-ish braided belt from wet seal.  but this one is very pretty.... thoughts?


i think i'm also going to go for this cardigan- kinda plain, but it's on sale and would work with so many outfits!  a good basic.

I loved this cardigan. I bought it in yellow, then the first time I was wearing it, I looked in the mirror and I noticed 3 little holes on the left side. I went to the store to exchange it w/ another one but they were sold out of the cardigan in every single color in my size. grrr! it looked so cute on too, so I was sad to see it go.
