Lindsay & Wilmer: Dance Dance Retribution

Lohan vs. Valderrama; Plus, Paris vs. Nicole, Britney's baby scare, Kate's overshare and more ...

April 13, 2005

In Hollywood, former lovebirds don't get mad -- they get funky. Lindsay Lohan, 18, and Wilmer Valderrama, 25, parted ways in November, but People reports they recently tried to work out some unresolved relationship issues by boogying down at the hipper-than-thou Manhattan club Suede.

"Lindsay got there, had her energy drink, and all of a sudden they started glaring at each other. And they get up and start dancing," a spywitness tattles to the magazine. "Then they were dancing on top of the banquettes, and then Wilmer does this almost Michael Jackson impression on the dance floor! It was like a scene out of a comedy movie. It was really, really funny."

There were even guest stars, including a fellow top-heavy starlet who watched the alleged Astaire-like competition in disbelief. "The whole crowd was just staring at them," the insider explains. "Even Pam Anderson and Stephen Dorff were like, 'Are these people kidding?'" Also said to have spied the huffy hoofing: *NSync alums Joey Fatone and J.C. Chasez.

While it's usually all fun and games until someone gets a leg cramp, Lindsay, who has lately been linked to antediluvian actor Christian Slater (OK, he's only 35), and Wilmer appeared quite serious in their seeming re-enactment of "You Got Served."

"The two of them would glance at each other and then dance harder," the insider adds to People. "They did not say a word to each other the whole night."

The Star says the "That '70s Show" sidekick even went so far as to mock the teen queen's moves. "It was a sight to see," an onlooker tells the tab.

The celebrity dance-off seems to be an increasingly popular way to settle scores. About six months after their March 2002 breakup, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears reportedly faced each other down on the dance floor of an L.A. club. Though the onetime squeezes denied the incident, "Saturday Night Live" ended up doing a spoof (to the tune of "Everybody Dance Now"), with Matt Damon in the role of JT.

"Do I look like a guy who would have a dance-off?" Timberlake asked at the time. Usher, like the rest of us, apparently thought he did. The chart-topping crooner is said to have twice tried to entice the former boy bander into busting a move.

Thats so funny!  I would've LOVED to see that.

I was at a club (Club Hard Rock of all places - I know the bartender ) the other weekend and there were a lot of hip hop dancers around.  All of a sudden two these guys started going into a dance-off.  It was all over when one busted out into break dancing, but that was the best live entertainment I've had in awhile!
