Charlotte/Guess beach pants question
Permalink Closed

Ok- I bought the Guess ones in a size small because I thought XS would be too small for me.  Well I got them and love them because they are higher rise than the Charlotte ones (I have a long torso) but I am worried they are too loose.  The waist isn't as tight as the Charlotte ones- they don't look as demented when they are off the body if you know what I mean.  So even though they probably won't fall off- I wonder if I should get the XS.  I bought white ones too that are totally see through- I may just exchange those for the green XS and then return one to the store and see if I can find something else so that I don't lose the $50 off.  Do these shrink or stretch out?  How do your Charlotte pants fit?

I don't have any experience with them, but by the looks of it - If it were me - I'd probably try to size down and see how they look.

I'm a size 4 in pants and 27 in jeans and the xs fit me in the Guess ones. The small were too baggy/big and long. The xs fit perfect! :)

I bought those guess ones too & I was so disappointed.  They are huge!  I have never tried on the Charlotte pants but I am going to go that route instead.  These are too long and too big.  Now I just have to figure out if I'm XS or S in the charlotte pair.
I bought the Charlotte Odalisca skirt in S and it's a little big.  Does anyone know if their pants run smaller than their skirts?

hmm...so when i get back to my normal size (hopefully soon!) i am a pretty true size 6 on bottom.  do you guys think that the S in these pants would fit me, if it looks like they run a bit bigger than normal? i thought i couldn't get them, because all that's left are XS and S in most of the colors, but i'd like to use the awesome coupon.

there's still only XS in the yellow, which is the one i really wanted...oh well.

If you are a true 6- I think the small will fit you in the Guess ones.  It is probably a 6/small 8.  I have no idea why they run so big!

thanks lynnie--i ordered the lime green ones in S, so we'll see how it goes.  i would actually like them to be somewhat baggy and loose so that they are comfy for wearing to the actual beach.  i can't really see myself wearing them around town.

ok, i went and tried these on at the guess store at lunch.  i don't have any of the charlotte ones, so i didn't know what to expect in terms of how they are supposed to fit.  i put on the S and they fit me, i would say they are like a BR size 6 (not really a 6).  they are pretty fitted, though--more like juicy sweats than like the j.crew ones.

I went to Guess today and got the XS in the green ones.  They fit so much better- they are everything I wanted Charlotte pants to be but they just weren't...
