Ok, so I've been invited to a wrap party for this movie http://www.empiremovies.com/index.php?id=1966.  I haven't been to this type of event before so I don't really know how to dress for it.  I figure it can't be that formal right?  I'm thinking of just dressing up as if I was going to a club.  Jeans, heels, a cute top.  What do u guys think?  I'd appreciate any outfit suggestions.

Wrap parties are generally not formal events, I think dressing as if for a club would be fine. Have fun...

do you have info on where it is? is it casual or dressy? since you're not a part of the film cast or crew, you can have a ton of fun with your clothing choices. you could do the jeans, shiny/slinky top outfit, or a full skirt and plungy top. regarding shoes: will you mostly be standing up, dancing or sitting down?

It's going to be in a casual lounge.   I think I'll spend equal time dancing & chatting so yeah, I think super high heels shouldn't be an option.  Ok i really need shoes because all of my going out shoes are really high or uncomfortable.  Also, I'm thinking of getting this top.  But what color?  I am leaning towards pink or black.

I've been to wrap parties and I think your shirt is cute for it. I like the black because the pink looks really bubblegummy on my monitor.
