i am addicted to target and F21 right now. i see so much stuff everytime i go in those stores. i go to target about 2 times a week and always end up with more stuff than i expected to get (i return a lot too though). my latest buys have been their skinny jeans in black and white, some jewelry (though i took the erickson beamon necklace back), a grey sleeveless tunic (alex. mcq. collection), emerald satin top, a grey tee with a sequined motif (got the last medium at my store) and some navy chinos. i really like the dresses and cardis right now at F21 as well.

i am sort of on a "low end" kick right now b/c i have to pay cash for all my purchases, and it will be awhile until my cash flow increases again. i plan on using my gift certificates for better stores (j crew, BR, Gap, bcbg) and combining that with the cheap stuff.

oh i also saw a bunch of stuff at loehmanns yesterday - another store that i could spend hours in. they have a bunch of C&C tees and a "theory sample sale" going on right now - several racks of theory items priced at $50 (the tees mostly), $60 (pants and shorts), and $70. it's worth checking out if you have a loehmanns near you.

Here are the spring things I have bought so far. It is warm here, so I have been able to wear it all right away. But when I lived in DC, I always was in a funk this time of year because I was caught between winter yuck and spring happiness.

I don't wear these with the pink pants...I have been on the hunt for a nude/pale pink shoe. These are AMAZING! So comfy and I can wear them with anything.

My casual shoe purchase. They are nike air, so it's like walking on a cloud.

So there are my spring purchases - I am done shopping for a looooong time :(

I totally feel ur pain though I count it as good for my credit card. I've only been wanting to buy special pieces I know I'll keep for awhile.

Recent clothing/wardrobe related purchases:
* sequined draped front blazer from Zara
* bright yellow skinnies from Zara (cheap buy only 20)
* Burberry plaid slingbacks
* miu miu heels
* so bella charm bracelet
* cotton/casmhmere striped l/s tee

I've been just buying key pieces to add or spice things up other than building around. I think that's a general recesion trend if there is one for buying. I hope...

Hi alb - the flats do not rub my heels at all. The heel and leather strap conform to the shape of your foot, so it moves with me instead of rubbing back and forth. They are so awesome.

I think they run just a tad bigger than Forever 21 but not much. It depends on the item though. In general I feel like Francesca's and F21 are pretty similiar.

great, thanks! i'm sold. i'll go try them on soon. btw have you seen them anywhere for less than $150? i don't mind paying that much if i wear them all the time but i'm on somewhat of a budget right now (and am paying for all my clothing purchases in cash, which means i have to wait forever to get stuff).
