Did anyone see these?  Are they really serious (or am I really out of it, fashion-wise)?

i don't get it. I've seen them featured on a lot of websites but I've never seen them on anyone IRL. Are girls wearing them? I can appreciate most trends, even ones I won't (or can't) personally wear, but I just can't get into these.

I fail to understand why harem pants and jumpsuits are being crammed down our throats this season. IMO harem pants are flattering on no one and jumpsuits can only be pulled off by tall, thin model-types who have no hips or butt.  bleh

I will admit that if I were being a harem girl or Jasmine or something like that for Halloween, I would be kind of excited to wear these pants.

as a costume.

no part of me wants to wear or see these in everyday life.

I'm really surprised at seeing these also! I was browsing F21 online last night and saw these two outfits

Maaaaaybe the first one would look alright since they are shorter but the long pants I don't dig!

These are so awful. When I saw that Anthro email yesterday, I almost thought it was a joke. Those are SO BAD. Needless to say, I won't be falling for that trend.

I LOLed when I saw the Anthro email with the harem pants.

However.. I think those slouchy drop crotchy pants can work sometimes.  It's not for everyone but I appreciate it when someone can rock a different silhouette.

There were several of those pants and jumpers at F21 this weekend. I saw a girl trying one on though, I was shocked!

This look has always been popular with a certain demographic outside the mainstream, like people who majored in Sanskrit, brew their own mead, and have a guru. I think it's somewhat inevitable that some of these traditionally counterculture elements will cross over. People wear designer outfits for yoga and the Om symbol on their navel ring, so why not...

I saw the hammer ( i mean harem) pants on the Anthro site today and shuddered.

Totally practical for when it's that time of month and you're wearing a pad.  :)

And I've learned to never say never, I never thought I'd wear those big, knit gaucho pants a few years back.  But I really can't see myself getting into these.
