this is the best cleanser - it removes almost every trace of my waterproof mascara with a regular face washing with water:

St. Ives - Elements Olive Cleanser - 6.75 fl oz

and... someone said they use cocoa butter for a night cream, and I really like the results.  I haven't broken out, and I think it's actually making trapped stuff work its way out.  It's great to put on your hands and elbows when you're going to bed too.

I've been using Palmer's cocoa butter with vitamin E:
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula With Vitamin E
just thought I'd share!

Thanks! When I was in the US I loved the StIves stuff - they are really good and inexensive. Unfortunately here they are sold only in very specific stores...

Thanks D! I've been looking for something gentle yet effective to remove my mascara at night. I love St. Ives scrubs and moisturizers so I'll give that a try.

Glad the palmer's has been working out for you! It's the only thing that works for me in the winter.

Here's some of my favorites:

This Dove flexible hold hairspray is really nice. It will keep your hair in place without making it all weird and stiff. And it's under $4

I also LOVE these eyelashes. They add just a wing of lashes to the corner of the eyes and no one ever suspects I have on false lashes:

Hmm - I've been using that cleanser, but I'm looking forward to using it up so I can try something else. It's alright, but I didn't think it was "wow" and I can't get my (regular, non-waterproof) mascara off with only that, even when I pay special attention to my lashes while washing my face. And I think my skin has gotten a little worse since using it...I have bumps on my chin :(

sorry it didn't work out for you! granted I have to spend a little time on my lashes washing, but I was surprised how much more of my mascara it removed than other cleansers I've used.  my skin has actually gotten better - goes to show how everone has different skin!
