i just got an e-mail from e street denim in highland park...and CHIP AND PEPPER will be "live in person sat. april 16th from 10am-3pm" and they will have things to give away.  damn, if only i was going to be in town!!!  i looooove that skirt you posted.  let me know how it fits because i am in desperate need of a new denim skirt!!!

I got that email, too. At first I was going to go (I live maybe half a mile from the store) but I changed my mind because I hate that place when it's really busy. I try to go when i don't think it will be crowded. I do wonder what they're giving away though. Is anyone going to go?

Thanks for letting me know.  Unfortunately I am way too lazy to haul my cookies all the way out to the burbs on a Saturday even if it is to meet a designer.


I did get the skirt.  I got 2 of them actually.  They are both the same, but different washes.  It fits like a dream and nothing hangs out of the back if you catch my drift.  The best part?  They were only $49 at the Rack compared to the $140 on shopbop.  Thanks for telling me about that Dom, I owe you one!!

i've actually never gone there on a sat.  but i can imagine the crowds.  i'm not sure if i was in town i would drive to the 'burbs to go there.  i think i'll make a trip to the rack (too bad i was there this sat. with my sister-we were on mission prom dress for her) instead.  that skirt is the only denim one that i thought was cute this year.  i'll definitely be checking it out.  thanks for the feedback farrah.
