Honestly, I think if you moved to Boston, it wouldn't be that much of a great idea because I feel (and this is just me ASSUMING) that the choice or decision to move there has a LOT with working on your relationship with the new guy.

If you don't want to move to Manhattan, try Brooklyn, Queens, Jersey City, Hoboken... you can room with someone also... my friend went on Hoboken site to find a roommate and it worked out great for her twice.
