just wanted to say i'm sorry i missed this thread (i wasn't in the office yesterday)! i love talking debt!! shopchicago, if u ever want someone to talk to PM me any time, i'm in a similar situation & doing everything in my power to pay off my debt & start saving for a wedding & house (not that i'm expecting either one soon, but in 5 years i want to have enough for one or the other at least). oh & to the girl who talked about the budget of $40/DAY.... man, u wanna switch? i'm giving myself a budget of $150/paycheck (every TWO WEEKS) but thinking of knocking that down to $100 so i have more to contribute to debt. if i had $40/day spending cash i wouldn't be in debt at all (then again, $9000 in taxes kinda gave away that u don't exactly make minimum wage!!).
