summer color combos

I think I'm gonna start something new this summer. I'm gonna buy everything in this color group so everything matches and I can just pull pieces and instantly have an outfit...anyone done this before? Do you think I'll get sick of it???

I'm thinking, yellow, aqua, white, silver and chocolate brown

like the new bcbg collection

I agree with the idea that you can get really sick of those colors really quickly. Plus they're such nice colors you wouldn't want to overdo it by seeing them all this season and not being able to enjoy them in the fall.

My signature color is pink, my accent color is green and then I add a new 3rd color each season. This spring/summer is yellow, last year was lilac. It don't get sick of it b/c there are so many variations of pink and greens. Also with different designers you are ok. But sticking with one line will make you sick. Since I used to work at BCBG and I am very familiar with color stories, I got sick of theirs after a month. But I think you were just using that as an example. Think of it as your pallette and then all your clothes will cooridinate nicely!

i feel like you might get sick of the colors, the way i do when i see the same colors at bcbg when i work twice a week.  we haven't have purple in soooo long and i'm dying to own a ton of purple items (probably for that reason).  i think if you got a lot of those colors, and threw in some other pieces in other colors as accent colors, that would be cute.  like Chic mentioned.  i know that this year i have picked brown instead of black.  i have also added a lot of that pretty "kiwi" color.
