Ok, revisiting Easter outfit...

* Updated with decision in my latest post :)

I did decide to wear a black dress...

Gap black strapless silk ruffle dress

And I got these gorgeous shoes to go with:

Now for shrug/cardi options: (and I'm open to more suggestions here)
Decree Pointelle CardiganELLE Ruffled Cardigan02948291_zi?layer=comp&op_usm=2.0,0.5&&rgn=0,0,1760,2040&scl=6.666666666666667&fmt=jpeg&id=12bYQG8p2dRXQpcbHZKp-n
Now I did think that if I do a white shrug (or maybe any color) that maybe I would do a big necklace that was springy and had a lot of pink in it, example:

Betsey Johnson Garden Necklace
Oh, and for reference, here's Zav's outfit:

And hubby will wear a pink checked button up and black pants (probably)

Ok, thoughts, opinions, suggestions???

Side note, I'm loving Betsey Johnson right now!

Cute outfit. I like the dress, shoes, and the necklace. I'm not sure about any of the cardis though. With the first two I think you might get to the point where there are too many ruffles going on between the dress and the cardi. The third one is nice but the lace looks out of place with the ruffles. I would look for something similar to it but minus the lace I think.

I agree with Aurora. I'd like a pink cropped cardi, but in a plainer style. And I think the necklace would look very good on the outfit.

Ok, I just had another idea, whatever shrug I go with, I could totally change the buttons:

Like these on a white shrug
Two-Hole Flower Button

Or these

i like your original plan of the black dress, shoes, and necklace but i would look for a simpler cardi b/c there is a lot going on with the dress and necklace.  specifically i'd look for a plain shrunken/fitted cardi in white, pink or even a mint green might look cute.  i love the buttons you posted, esp. the first big pink one, but i wouldn't do it with that dress if you are going to wear the necklace.  i'd choose the necklace or the decorative buttons, but not both.

although i think a simpler cardi is better, out of the cardis you posted, the pink one is the only one that would work imo as the white one and the black and white one are too busy with the dress (due to the ruffles and esp. if you add the necklace).  hope that helps some - i think you guys will all look really cute.

oh and btw i saw that little boy outfit at the children's place and may have to copy you for my two yr old son - it's so cute irl!

I like your dress!  Too bad you can't skip the shrug - the dress is great

Pretty sure I've decided to go with this:
ELLE Ruffled CardiganBetsey Johnson Charm Necklace
0d19_1.JPG6901-806360-p.jpg
I know a lot of you think the white shrug with the ruffle is too busy, but I am just not a plain cardigan/shrug kinda girl, always feel too office-y or old in a plain one, and the more I think about it the more I can see this white shrug working with a lot of my summer dresses.  I'll threadstyle after I get it all and put it together :)

Thanks for all of your opinions and suggestions!

Super-cute!  I like this dress much better than your first option and I love how you all coordinate.
