Anyone experienced with Novalash?
Permalink Closed

Has anyone done the Novalash thing before?  I had it done last night and realized I didn't fully know everything I should have known before having it done.  Nothing terrible with them but it just seems like it will be pricey to up keep in the long run.  I had them done for the wedding photos but am thinking I did it too soon so I will have to at least keep them up until July.  I just wanted to make sure they would be ok with enough time to get over any adverse results.

So I wanted to see if anyone had tried them before and how often you went for "refills" and how far out you really could stretch the time between refills without looking tacky.

Yes! They are the extension things they glue to your eyelashes.

Ok, just wanted to make sure.

I had them sometime ago, and I find if you wear minimual eye makeup and avoid oily eye make up removers that they will last about 8 weeks before needing to be filled. The more stuff you wear on your eyes the faster they will need to be refilled.

Also , sleeping on your back instead of your side helps too.

Thanks for the info. I've been trying to mess with my eyes as little as possible and watch my sleeping positions but that can be hard. I'm definitely watching how much makeup I'm putting near them and trying to stay away from eyeliner for the time being.

I'm not a big fan.  They seem too high maintenance for how they look
