For Vegas, yes. For anywhere else, I'd tread carefully :) And I say yes, black top. As far as tights, if you've got the legs, hey it's Vegas, strut your stuff and as long as the weather permits.

If you have the legs for it, go bare. I think it would look great with black opaque tights, myself. I also see it with a relaxed tee and cropped tuxedo jacket.

I like D's idea! I agree re: tights. If you have the legs, go bare. Vegas is the place for it. I'm not sure you'll get much mileage out of that skirt outside of Vegas (or maybe you will, I have no idea), but I think it's perfect for a night out there.

Me too! Def black tights if your cold or feel uncomfortable. You could throw on a white wife beater too to make it more casual, if you are in the mood for that.

Good for Vegas, yes! I like the idea of a layered look on top - which might be hard if it's too hot. A unique jacket and a tee/tank in a neutral color would work, just like D said or double tanks. It would be super cute. I'm interested in seeing the end result, please post on thread style after your trip!

I would go with something that's a wee bit longer, especially if you are going to dinner. Even clubbing...it's really, really short. I don't know that an extra 6-8 inches is necessary, but maybe something at least a couple inches longer would be perfect.

when I first opened this thread, I thought, "whoa! that is short!" then I remembered back in the day I probably wore shorter and I never had exposure problems. I'm assuming you're young, as I was when I wore skirts that short. If you have a single ounce of fat, it may not be cute. I could see a tall, willowy, model-type wearing it and it not looking sleazy. All depends on how you look in it. Personally, I would not be able to wear it, but more power to you if you can get away with it!
