How do you walk in your C. Ronson's?
Permalink Closed

I am wearing my C. Ronson's for the first time today and while I have no problem walking in heels or wedges I cannot walk in these friggin' shoes!  Simply walking from the car to work had my toes pushed all the way down, hanging out of the shoes and the straps flapping around in the back.  Tighten the straps, you say?  If my feet are in the proper position in the shoe, then the straps are the correct width.  It's when my feet fall forward that the straps fall down and flop around while my toes hang out.

Is anyone else having this problem and can you recommend a correction?

did you get the ones with a buckle on the top? can you tighten that buckle?  if not, you can get those non-slip adhesive pads that you put under the ball of your foot to keep them from slipping forward

i bought these

C. Ronson Braided Suede Wedge > Brown $154 in a size 9, which is the size that i usually wear.  when i got them they were super tight (but i figured they would be).  so now they are perfect because i didn't size up.  i agree with detroit, those foot-petals are an option.  also, maybe you can have your coobler tighten the strap if they aren't tight enough?

Drew,

Did you find a way to wear the Ronson Annabelle or did you return them?

I can't return them because I already wore them.  I only wore them that one time. In addition to them being difficult to walk in, the sole is seperating at the back of one shoe.  I used Stix-All (or is it Fixx-All?) to try and fix them, but I checked them last night and it didn't work.  I can't wear them until I get that sole fixed so I don't know.

I kind of regret the purchase.  I think I got caught up in the hype.

I've been holding on to a pair, I think they are going back.  If you can get the sole fixed, you could probably resell them on Ebay and get some of your costs back.  Sold out sizes and colors seem to be doing well.

I just got mine yesterday and tried walking in them inside the house. My feet just slip down and hang off the shoe. Also I'm 5'10 and these make me a giant, so I think I will have to return them unfortunatelly. Plus I'm afraid the platform part will get dirty because of it's suedish material. Not worth the $120.

drew -- where did you buy them from?  i would try to return them if they are coming apart.  for that price they should not fall apart after one wearing.
