i am looking for an inexpensive pair of driving shoes in a neutral color ($80 max). I was going to stalk ebay for a deal on a pair of tods or cole haans- but i need shoes asap

so far ive found

1) minnetonkas ($32)

2) Jcrew yorks ($69)

what do you all think of these pairs? Can I wear brown leather into the spring/summer? Any other recs?

thanks in advance!

I think they're both cute and I think brown is totally versatile enough to wear through summer. I don't have a lot of experience with driving mocs but I've always wanted some, I've tried some on at J Crew and have been concerned that they're quite wide and will apparently stretch out more and they felt like they had little support/padding so it felt like I was walking in bare feet. I;m not sure if that's common with driving mocs (thinking of their intended function it might be). They're cute though!

ETA I found these at BR (on sale for $68.60), I tried some similar mocs on at BR earlier this year and found them more comfy than the J Crew ones.

I think you can wear brown year-round. I prefer the second pair because they aren't as unisex.

6pm.com usually has lots of Cole Haan, could be worth a look.
