I'd go with black.

It's cute. I like both colors but the black is more versatile. With the blue you'd be more limited with what you could wear underneath and that shade might not look right with some denim washes.

I agree. But sometimes I like to be contrary and get the less obvious color choice anyway. So I guess I'm no help other than to say it's cute.
