lakehouse attire

I'm going to start going out on the boat at my lakehouse in late may, so I wanted to start looking for good "out on the lake" outfits. And what about stuff that you throw on still in your swimsuit right after you come out of the water? AND stuff for when you are at the lake hanging outside in the evening.  For evening wear I've been thinking of the usual trends like
turquoise and lots of white shirts. But I'm stumped on what else to get!  This is my first summer we have had our OWN lakehouse, so now I need outfits for going there regularly.  I'm sure most ideas will be the same as regular summer-y outfits but I thought it would be fun to see if you girls had any cute fun ideas to be stylish on the lake! Thanks!

I just got a tunic-y top at H and M that I keep thinking will be prefect to throw on over a swimsuit. They actually had a lot of cute stuff there a few weeks ago, so if you have you migth want to check it out.

Otherwise, I always picture a very j.crew style for lakehouse wear- linen pants or looser skirts, polos or a cute cami... pretty much any of the more casual summer wear would be good.

I just got a bunch of clothes to take up to our lakehouse. I usually just keep them up there, so most of them are pretty loungey clothes. I think J.Crew is reallly great for beach clothes. Things that will dry fast and it won't be a bid deal if they get wet. I also have a few sweaters that can be layer- nothing to bulky.

My parents have a mountain house on a lake, so I normally just wear a Juicy tube or skirt/wife beater as a cover up. If I'm not going into the club, I'll wear a cutoff jean skirt. Here are some of the things I've bought this season to use as coverups at the beach/pool/lake. If you can't tell, I like to spend a lot of time in the sun

(Look on ebay if you like this knock off Cool Change dress because I got in pink for a lot cheaper)

J. Crew beach pants that are super comfy and light weight... like scrub pants

I wore this this weekend and love it so much I also have it in turquoise

From Forever 21, not on the site but maybe still in stores. I like it because it's light weight and already wrinkled so I can just ball it up in my bag.

And when I want to go all out, I pull out my Lilly caftan with zebras on it. It's very loud, campy and Palm Beach chi-chi, andI feel like I should be in Valley of the Dolls when I wear it but I love how it's over the top.

Other ideas... I don't own any of these but they are really cute

This is also cute for those cooler evenings:

Love this look!  If you can wear bermudas, I'd pair them with tanks and halters and flip flops or espadrilles.

at our beach house i do a lot of juicy.  it's soo comfortable and a little thicker weight fabric so it keeps me warm when it is windy.

tunics are nice as coverups as well.  i love the ideas everyone posted.
