Birthday Bag - UPDATE w/pics!

I have a bday coming up and since it's looking like my vacation plans are falling through, I thought I might get a new bag instead.

I don't want to spend all my vacation money, maybe up to $800 for the right bag. If it is less than $500, even better. I was thinking something magenta/hot pink, made of slouchy soft leather.
Maybe M by MJ or Foley & Corinna? Any ideas?

UPDATE:

I got a Marc Jacobs Stam!!  I know some people think it's dated but I really like the style and it's in the color I wanted.  Best part is I stayed right around $500 since it was over 60% off retail!!

I heart my Foley-Corinna mid city tote in fushica, and the leather is so yummy! It's held up really well. I'm not sure if it's still available though, but if you can find it that's my vote :)

i second the foley and corrina bag!  vanessa, look at the bag in FP's threadstyle, it's really cute and definitely made me want it!  i am loving m by mj now (as you know), but i haven't seen one in that color other than the one i posted the other day, which was patent and i don't think what you are looking for.  i'll keep my eye out for other bags in that color though.   also, eluxury usually has a good selection of m by mj bags (and others), you might want to look there if you haven't already.

(sorry i'm having a hard time posting pics).  also i noticed a coach bag at the coach store last summer that i really liked, and then noticed it was on sale the other day at macy's in the color you want- it's really cute irl (and would also be under your budget - i think it was under $400).  i can't find it online anywhere (not even macy's website) but it was the color you wanted and a very cute shoulder bag with a few pleats and no logos or anything.  the leather was buttery soft.  kind of looked like this one but much cuter:

Thank you guys for all your suggestions! It's funny, I had put the Foley Corinna on my kaboodle wishlist when I saw it on *shame* gossip girl last May, and then I forgot about it. FP, I checked out your pics on TS and it looks amazing, as do you. Unfortunately that bag is nowhere to be found! (though I did find one that sold on ebay recently).

JoceyBaby23, I love the Nikki tote! That is one of my favorite bag shapes. I saw their spring collection and they have a "rose" color that I love, except for the gold hardware. If a code was available I might consider it though.

Aurora thanks for the tip. I do like the Rio Tote Colette posted but I have the same exact bag in the silver-taupe patent color already.

 Oh, I bet the grass green was pretty!  I got mine from LunaBoston.com and used the code gretchen for 30% off, not sure if it's a code that's always good or if it expires.  I"m sure you could call them and ask.
