We switched from State Farm to American Family when we bought our house - we thought we had good rates before, but now we pay less for 2 cars and our house than we did for just the cars before. We've been happy with them .
Good luck!

I'm with the Cincinnati Insurance Company (you're around here, right?)
For the policy I got, it was my cheapest option. I guess I'm happy with them - I've never needed it yet, so I haven't really had to deal with them other than paying my bill!

I'm with Nationwide. I have a good rate, but I've never needed to file a claim with them or anything.
My car was hit a few weeks ago, and they lady who hit it has Geico. I dealt with them and they were wonderful. The guy made me an appointment at an auto body shop near my house and met me there with my rental. He called me not a half hour after I dropped my car off with an estimate of what it would cost them and when I'd get my car back, and made sure that I knew that I wouldn't have to pay a penny since I wasn't at fault. He handled everything... it was great.
Cheapest for me has been Progressive. Of course what may be the cheapest route for me might be more costly for someone else. I really don't understand how they come up with these figures. I'd really just get as many quotes as I can and choose from there.
I'm a GEICO girl. The gecko advertising worked for me. I haven't had to deal with them other than renewing my insurance every 6 months so I can't comment on the claims process. They have been helpful every time I have called about my insurance so no complaints there. I switched from AllState to GEICO about 4 years ago. GEICO was half of what AllState was quoting me on my poor 10 year old car at the time. I thought it was insane - same coverage and all!
