hi everyone... this is my first post, but I read all the time... I stumbled across this forum a few weeks ago and now I'm addicted. Since I think that you all are so fashion-savvy and respect your opinions, I have a question. Am I completely out of my mind for considering these wellies?!


 


 


 


 


 


I can't decide if they're cute or if I'm crazy. I've been in the market for a new pair of wellies, and I came across these. Before that, I was considering these pink ones from J Crew


or a few of the Target ones. The frog ones just seem so fun, like they'd put me in a good mood on a rainy day. Maybe I'm just crazy... opinions, anyone?

I really like the toad wellies- they are so cute. I have a pair from J. Crew, a pair from Delias and I am thinking about getting a pair from Target.

I wear them to run errands in and to go to class. They look cute w/ my jeans or khakis that are casual.

I think wellies are a great purchase. I wore them today and when I jumped out of my car I landed in a puddle of water. My jeans got wet, but my feet and legs stayed dry- so glad I had them on.

I think the whole point of Wellingtons is that they're supposed to be fun and quirky, so these are perfectly OK to wear, imo!

Just a heads up about the Target wellies... I got my daughter a pair there last week and I noticed a few little bubbles on the plastic coating.  After they rubbed together for a few minutes, they were totally peeling all over.  They're going back today.  These were kids wellies, though.

Ok I'm convinced... I'm going to order the froggie wellies tomorrow. Thanks for all the support, because I really thought I would be the only one in the world who thought they were cute.


Meow- you asked where they were from... I stumbled across this website  http://www.let-it-rain.com/ one day while looking for a cute, cheap umbrella. If you scroll down, they're there.


Cricket- Thanks for the heads up about the Target wellies. I think they're so cute, but if there's a chance for something like that to happen, I think I'll pass. Thanks again!


And tons of thanks to everyone else who responded... you made me feel so welcome and I look forward to posting more. When I get the wellies I'll try to figure out how post a picture in the Thread Style section and then you all can let me know how they really look.
